Most of what a child draws is gone within a fortnight. Not because anyone meant to lose it. It goes in a pile, the pile moves, and by the time it turns up again nobody remembers which one it was or when they did it.

The last page is about putting a small wall together. Hang them at their height rather than yours. Leave a gap, because room for one more is an invitation and a full wall is a finished project. Keep the early ones, since a page from when they were four next to one from when they were seven is the best thing on there. Photograph the wall once a year, because paper does not last and a photograph of a wall of paper does.
Hanging a drawing will not make a child better at drawing and we are not going to tell you it will. It tells them the thing they made was worth keeping, which is a smaller claim and a truer one.
